Predict the Unpredicted

While you’re unable to predict a collision, you can predict how to be prepared when one happens. Our Damage Waiver (DW) is offered to all our truck rental customers. The DW is an optional service and not mandatory to rent a vehicle. DW provides customers with a way to avoid a large damage bill when returning units. Many renters change providers due to unfair damage bills.  By offering the Damage Waiver, we hope to provide peace of mind and help our renter’s save money when they rent.

Damage Waiver is not insurance.

How does DW work?

You pay an additional monthly charge based on the level of DW you choose, upon rental return you avoid a large damage bill. DW requires a minimum rental commitment of 6 months. DW does not replace insurance, which is required for all rentals.

What is covered under the waiver?

DW covers wear and tear damages on the exterior body panels found in the return inspection process, such as:

  • Sensor Damage
  • Tailgate or Panel Damage
  • General Stains and Scratches
  • Door Panel Gouges
  • Lower Valance
  • Rim Damage
  • Tire Damage
  • Cracked or Broken Grilles
  • Front and Rear Bumper Damage
  • Broken or Cracked Side Markers,
  • Headlights, and Taillights
  • Windows or Windshield Damage
  • Addon Damage such as Dented
  • Body Boxes or Ladder Racks
  • Running Board Damage
  • Damaged or Punctured Exhaust
  • Pipes
  • Bed Damage
  • Underbody Damage
  • Torn Weather Seals

What is not covered?

Debilitating incidents or accidents are not covered under DW and should submitted to the renter’s insurance provider. DW does not cover interior or exterior tears, burns, or stains including paint, glue, etc. that exceed one hour, smoking inside the unit, flood or water damage, electrical damage, preventative maintenance neglect, modifications or repairs not approved by PTR, alterations that damage frame or void warranty and theft. Remaining balance to be billed to renter.

How can I add the Damage Waiver to my rental?
