Single Reel Trailer | BRT120
Increase your reel capacity when you rent a BRT120 reel trailer from PTR. The BRT120 features a self-loading, multi-position, drop-in rack with dual lift cylinders. With this trailer, there’s no need for a crane truck or forklift to load your reels on your trailer.
Being a PTR rental, you can expect the same quality out of our reel trailer rentals as you do our truck rentals. Heavy-duty construction projects need a reel trailer that makes it easy to transport conduit, innerduct, cable, rope and other types of stringing gear material. Each BRT120 reel trailer rental comes standard with a hand pump and multi-position arbor capable of loading reels up to 120″ in diameter and a max of 67″ width.

4-Position Reel Tension Trailer | 4RT21BS
When you do distribution work, you need a reel trailer to help with your projects. We offer a wide variety of reel tension trailers for electrical contractors to help them get the job done more efficiently. When you rent a 4RT21BS 4-Position Reel Trailer, you get a max reel weight of 15,000lbs and max GVWR of 23,500lbs. This tension trailer allows you to mount (4) 48″ or (3) 72″ diameter reels for pulling cable wire safely and efficiently.
Using bigger diameter reels? We also carry the 4RT21BT for larger loads.
The 4RT21BS comes with 16” stainless steel tensioning brakes that safely control your tension as your cable pays out. Similar to our pole trailer rentals, our full line of tension trailers for rent are manufactured with galvanized steel.

Single Reel Tension Brake Trailer | CT9
Our reel and cable drum trailer product lines include a variety of trailers you’ll need to safely and efficiently transport and payout cable on your job site. When you rent a Brindle CT9 from PTR, you’re getting a quality self-loading reel trailer that comes standard with a manual hydraulic pump to help you conveniently load reels up to 98” in diameter and 56” in width.
The CT9 features 16” stainless steel tension brake providing simple control to prevent over spin of the reel and ensure the right amount of tension as your cable is being paid out.

These units were designed to specifically help you save time when loading and transporting reels to and from the job site.
The single person operation is a perfect fit for construction and telecom industries and has the capacity to lift reels weighing up to 5,000lbs, 102” in diameter and up 60” wide in our latest model. Designed if your standard reel width is larger. The use of the PowerWind is incompatible with 60″ reel at the moment and is intended for transportation purposes only. Max reel size for the PowerWind is 54″ on this model. Other models are fully capable with reels up to 48″. Add a Figure-8 option for safe fiber optic lay down.
Our Reel Loader Truck bed is steel with a high-quality finish, allowing your bed to handle any load with extreme durability. All of our 2-ton reel lift and load truck rentals are 4×4 crew cabs and each come standard with side steps, LED lights and top-rated hitches.
