POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs and driving improvements in business processes, systems, and solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals, identifying areas for improvement, defining project requirements, and testing to facilitate the successful completion of projects. The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between technical teams and business units, ensuring that projects align with business objectives and deliver tangible value.
LOCATION
- Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN
- Monday – Friday 8 AM -5 PM ET/flex to 7 AM – 4 PM ET
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, managers, and end-users, to understand business goals and requirements.
- Conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Define and document business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and feasibility.
- Develop project charters, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses to support project proposals and prioritization.
- Facilitate and lead requirements-gathering workshops, process mapping sessions, and project meetings.
- Create use cases, process models, data flow diagrams, and other necessary documentation to support project initiatives.
- Support the creation of testing plans, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and verify that project outcomes meet requirements.
- Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to team development and process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of involvement in complex projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as process mapping, data modeling, and requirements gathering.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (e.g., JIRA), and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI).
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages is a plus.
- Business Analysis certification is preferred.

- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, Fleet Management, Transportation Management, and Marketing platforms is all a plus
- A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and value-driven project outcomes.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment and respond to shifting priorities.
