Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

  • Consumer, for the purpose of the CCPA, means a natural person who is a California resident.
  • Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, Device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
  • Do Not Track (DNT) is a concept that has been promoted by US regulatory authorities, in particular the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), for the Internet industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites.
  • Personal Information is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
    • For the purposes of the CCPA, Personal Information means any information that identifies, relates to, describes or is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with You.
  • Sale, for the purpose of the CCPA, means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a Consumer's Personal Information to another business or a Third Party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
  • Sensitive Personal Information is a specific subset of Personal Information that includes certain government identifiers (such as social security numbers); an account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number with any required security code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account; precise geolocation; contents of mail, email, and text messages; genetic data; biometric information processed to identify a consumer; information concerning a consumer’s health, sex life, or sexual orientation; or information about racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, or union membership.
  • Share, for the purpose of the CCPA, means transferring an individual’s Personal Information to a Third Party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes whether or not for money or other valuable consideration.
  • Service Provider, for the purposes of the CCPA, means a service provider, contractor, or processor which collects, stores, or otherwise handles data for us and is bound by contractual obligations to use your Personal Information only as directed by us..
  • Third Party means any non-affiliated person that is not a Service Provider.
  • Third-party Social Media Service refers to any website or any social network website through which a user can log in or create an account to use the Service.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Other terms used herein that are defined under the CCPA shall have the meanings afforded to them in the CCPA, whether or not capitalized unless context indicates otherwise.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Information

Types of Personal Information Collected

We collect two types of Personal Information from You: (1) Personal Information provided by You when You interact with Us; and (2) Personal Information passively collected from You when You use Our Services.

Personal Information

While using Our Service, send Us an email, interact with PTR social media accounts, or otherwise interact with Us, We may ask You to provide Us with certain Personal Information that can be used to contact or identify You. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Commercial information, such as the pages of Our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, and products, items, or services purchased, obtained, or considered
  • Geolocation data, such as device location
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing history, interaction with Our website, computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform, the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from the website, including date and time, cookie identifier and related cookie information, information You viewed or searched for, Your mobile carrier and device type, etc.
  • Inferences drawn from any of the information listed above to create a profile about You reflecting Your preferences, characteristics, behavior, and attitude
  • Other diagnostic data

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

The Company allows You to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-party Social Media Services:

  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Twitter

If You decide to register through or otherwise grant Us access to a Third-Party Social Media Service, We may collect Personal data that is already associated with Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account, such as Your name, Your email address, Your activities or Your contact list associated with that account.

You may also have the option of sharing additional information with the Company through Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account. If You choose to provide such information and Personal Information, during registration or otherwise, You are giving the Company permission to use, share, and store it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service. The technologies We use may include:

  • With Your consent: We may disclose Your Personal Information for any other purpose with Your consent.

In addition to disclosures above, the Company uses remarketing services to advertise to You after You accessed or visited Our Service. We and Our third-party vendors use cookies and non-cookie technologies to help Us recognize Your Device and understand how You use Our Service so that We can improve Our Service to reflect Your interests and serve You advertisements that are likely to be of more interest to You.

We Sell and Share, and have Sold and Shared in the past twelve months, Personal Information as described in the categories in the table below for reasons such as: to analyze and better understand Consumers’ needs, preferences, and interests; to advertise and market Our products and Services; to improve the functionality of Our Service; and to contact Consumers regarding products or services that may be of interest.

Sale of Personal Information of Minors Under 16 Years of Age

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors under the age of 16 through Our Service.

Do Not Track & Opt-Out Preference Signals

We recognize opt-out preference signals that We are required to recognize for compliance with applicable law. Where required by the CCPA, We treat such opt-out preference signals as a valid request to opt-out of sale and sharing as applicable, for the browser or device through which the signal is sent and any Consumer profile We have associated with that browser or device, including pseudonymous profiles. Further, if We know the identity of the Consumer from the opt-out preference signal, We will also treat the opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for such Consumer. Authorized Agent: You may designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on Your behalf. To be able to act, authorized agents must submit proof that they are authorized to act on Your behalf. We may deny requests from claimed authorized agents who do not submit adequate proof that they are authorized to act on Your behalf.

Verifying Requests. To help protect Your privacy and maintain security, We will take steps to verify Your identity before complying with Your requests. For example, for requests to know, delete, and correct We will attempt to match Your identity to the information stored in our files. If We cannot, We will ask You to provide additional identifying information. We will use information You provide in Your request for the purpose of verifying Your identity or authority to make the request.

Your California Privacy Rights (California's Shine the Light law)

California Civil Code Section 1798 (California's Shine the Light law) permits California residents with an established business relationship with Us to request information once a year about sharing their Personal Information with Third Parties for the Third Parties' direct marketing purposes.
