The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in preparing and analyzing monthly financial results, streamlining processes, and contributing to financial forecasting and budgeting efforts. The financial analyst will support organization-wide planning and decision-making through cross-functional finance partnership. This team member will thrive in a dynamic environment, possess strong analytical skills, and have a knack for collaboration. They are responsible for financial review and analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

On-site in Fort Wayne, IN

COMPENSATION

This position offers a competitive compensation package, benchmarked to regional market standards. It consists of a base salary plus the opportunity for quarterly profit sharing after one year of employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial results
  • Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers of variance to budget/forecast/prior year
  • Prepare, maintain, and improve annual budget templates
  • Support the revenue and customer annual budgeting process by utilizing historical trends and applicable Salesforce data
  • Assist in the integration of financial planning & analysis software
  • Assist in the development and reporting of sales performance metrics
  • Model the financial impact of promotional programs, seasonal campaigns, and other sales and marketing efforts
  • Develop and maintain reporting to provide financial analysis on revenue, costs, and KPIs
  • Maintain continuous improvement mindset to reimagine reporting and budgeting needs
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests by collecting and analyzing financial data and communicating the resulting financial impact

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 2-4 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and motivated to research and resolve issues
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
  • Strong team player with the ability to effectively interact with customers and personnel from all aspects of the business unit
  • Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office software – including advanced Excel skills
  • ERP system experience
  • Excellent organization and follow through skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Rental industry experience
