POSITION SUMMARY

This Marketing Communications Intern will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including content creation, social media, event support and reporting, light design work, and campaign execution. This intern will need to be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about marketing.

Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN

COMPENSATION

This position offers competitive compensation, benchmarked to regional market standards. The role is an internship, so it does not include full-time company benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Support the development of marketing materials such as flyers, emails, and presentations.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to help inform marketing strategies.
  • Assist in coordinating and tracking marketing campaigns.
  • Build content for use on social media, website and email campaigns.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on various creative projects.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
