POSITION SUMMARY

The Wellness Coach Summer Intern will assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of wellness initiatives aimed at promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of employees (or community participants). This role offers hands-on experience in health coaching, wellness programming, and organizational engagement.

LOCATION AND HOURS

Onsite, Fort Wayne, Indiana
Monday through Friday 8am to 5PM

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the design and delivery of wellness programs (e.g., fitness challenges, mindfulness sessions, nutrition workshops).
Conduct individual or group wellness check-ins under supervision.
Assist in collecting and analyzing wellness program participation data and feedback.
Create educational materials such as newsletters, posters, or online content to promote wellness activities.
Coordinate logistics for wellness events, including scheduling, communication, and resource preparation.
Research current trends in workplace wellness, fitness, and health promotion.
Collaborate with HR, interns, and external wellness partners to enhance program engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

Current undergraduate or graduate student in Health Promotion, Exercise Science, Nutrition, Psychology, Public Health, or related field.
Strong interest in holistic wellness and helping others achieve health goals.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or wellness app platforms (e.g., MyFitnessPal, Headspace, etc.).
