POSITION SUMMARY

The Legal Intern needs to be a motivated law student. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing business environment. The intern will work closely with the General Counsel, gaining exposure to a wide range of legal matters, including contract review and negotiation, HR-related issues, and regulatory compliance.

LOCATION AND HOURS

Onsite, Fort Wayne, Indiana
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

Shadow the General Counsel in day-to-day legal operations.
Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
Support HR-related legal matters, including policy review and compliance.
Research and analyze regulatory requirements impacting the business.
Prepare summaries, reports, and documentation for internal stakeholders.
Participate in meetings and provide administrative support as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

Current law student (1L or 2L preferred).
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
