Wash Bay Technician
Job Details
The Wash Bay Technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining vehicles, ensuring that they are in excellent condition before they leave our facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, and be committed to providing outstanding service.

- Onsite- Fort Worth, TX
Compensation
- Hourly rate of $19.65 + Overtime + Benefits Start Day Off
Hours of Operation
- Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thoroughly cleanse the exteriors, including underbodies, of rental trucks, ensuring complete removal of all dirt and debris.
- Transfer trucks to and from assigned work and storage areas with care and precision.
- Execute detailed cleaning of each truck within allocated timeframes, striving to meet or exceed estimated work durations.
- Perform meticulous quality inspections and promptly report any identified issues to the supervisor.
- Record completed tasks and labor details accurately on workshop orders, submitting them to the supervisor for review.
- Strictly adhere to established quality and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with fellow team members and lead technicians to enhance and refine wash bay processes.
- Employ a diverse range of cleaning solvents, liquids, tools, and techniques proficiently and efficiently.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the work area.
- Prioritize personal safety by consistently utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools, observing safety regulations, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Punctually report for duty to support production startup and meet throughput objectives.
- Manage a demanding workload effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- 5S (Sort, Shine, Straighten, Standardize, Sustain): Implement and uphold 5S principles within the workspace to improve efficiency and organization.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Maintain a good driving record and be properly licensed.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player.
- Must be able to work both inside the shop environment and outdoors.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
- Basic written communication skills and proficiency in using a tablet.
NICE TO HAVE
- Previous customer service experience.
- Familiarity with automotive or truck cleaning and maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in using a variety of cleaning tools, solvents, and techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
