PTR Vendor Spotlight: Knapheide Truck Bodies

Quality is our number one priority at PTR. We want to make sure that our customers have the truck rentals that they need that will help them excel in their work. With the variety of work and industries that utilize service bodies and mechanics trucks, having the right unit for the job is crucial for productivity.

PTR and Knapheide have been working alongside one another to help provide custom solutions to customers in the utility and construction industries. We understand that each jobsite is special in its own way and every project has its own unique demands, so offering a variety of different bed lengths and types of service trucks is crucial for success.

A few of the truck rentals that PTR offers with Knapheide bodies are Open Service Bodies, Enclosed Service Bodies and Mechanic Crane Trucks.

Our Open Service Bodies from Knapheide have 8’, 9’ or 11’ bodies depending on your needs, 4-corner strobes, a master gang locking system, 6 external storage compartments with internal shelving and more. These trucks are great for securing your tools and having easy access to them while working on the jobsite. Plus, the open bed allows you and your crew to transport bulky, oversized equipment with ease.

With Enclosed Service Bodies, you can select with a 9’ or 11’ bed lengths. Similarly to our Open Service Bodies, these trucks have 4 corner strobes, 6 external storage compartments and a master gang locking system. In addition to the external drawers, these trucks have internal shelving and lighting. This gives you maximum safety and security for your equipment, preventing theft and providing a covered workspace.

Mechanic Crane Trucks are built to work. Each of our Mechanics Trucks have 9’ or 11’ bodies, 4 corner strobes, spray-on bedliner, rollout drawers in the external shelving, manual down and outriggers and a crane (either electric or hydraulic based on your preferences and job demands). Whether you need to do site maintenance, work on SCADA systems or move materials at your construction site, having a crane truck will save time and boost productivity, especially when machinery breaks down.

For us at PTR, it’s important that all of our customers have quality and durability with their truck rentals. You need a truck body that will help you get your job done.
